Between 2020 and 2023, Wilson Safety Group partnered with Steelcore Construction to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) framework. Our work ensured the company not only met but exceeded industry compliance standards, achieved high COR audit scores, and embedded a culture of shared safety across all levels of the organization.

Scope of Work

  • Created HSE Manual for the company, including HSE Policies, Procedures, & programs.

  • Successfully completed Year 2, 3, 4 of the COR audit receiving a COR Audit score of over 90%.

  • Trained Supervisors on computer software to properly log inspections, incidents, & other site documents.

  • Successfully completed the WSIB Safety Excellence Program by implementing five programs into the company manual and receiving lowered WSIB Insurance Rates.

  • Managed Contractors through a series of compliance checks & end of job evaluations.

  • Coached & Mentored Workers, Supervisors, & Senior Management on the importance of Shared Safety continuously.

  • Worked within a budget and was able to save money on purchases.

  • Implemented Continuous improvement plan with Yearly HSE Action Plan.
